Modular homes from Professional Homes are constructed in a climate-controlled facility using state-of-the-art engineering and assembly-line techniques. We use the same brand-name building materials and build to the same code requirements as any local on-site builder. State and independent third-party inspectors carefully review each home we build. Once complete, your home is shipped to the building site, secured to the foundation by a qualified set crew, and finished by Professional Homes' staff and subcontractors. The end result is a home that is completely indistinguishable from traditional site-built construction.
Professional Homes is in the business of building friendships, not just delivering houses. That means holding ourselves to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and value on every project we take on. From your first conversation with us to the day you move in, our commitment to you stays the same.
Protection from the Elements
Weather is one of the biggest risks in traditional home construction. Lumber and materials left exposed on a job site are vulnerable to warping, separation, saturation, mold, and mildew. At Professional Homes, all materials are stored and assembled inside a world-class manufacturing facility, fully protected from the elements throughout the entire construction process.

Design Flexibility
A team of highly qualified design engineers and CAD technicians produces every floor plan Professional Homes offers. Ranch, cape cod, and two-story styles are all available, and each design is thoroughly reviewed from an engineering standpoint before it ever reaches a customer. Hundreds of options are available for every room in the home, and full custom floor plans are also an option for families with a specific vision in mind.
Faster Timeframes
In most cases, a Professional Homes modular home can be built in roughly half the time of a comparably sized site-built home. Streamlined production, weather-free construction, and efficient coordination of site trades all contribute to a faster, more predictable timeline from start to move-in.
One-Stop Shopping
Building with Professional Homes means having a single, experienced team managing your entire project. We can even take you on a 3D virtual tour of your floor plan using our Chief Architect program, allowing you to see your flooring, cabinetry, countertop, and color selections all coordinated before a single nail is driven.

The process begins with the design phase, where your home is drawn using state-of-the-art software that supports customization and generates detailed drawings and materials lists. From there, construction moves through a modern factory assembly-line process, with your home traveling from station to station where all building trades are represented. Work is never held up by weather delays or scheduling gaps. In-plant inspectors and independent third-party agencies inspect each home throughout production to verify code compliance and workmanship before the home ever leaves the facility.

Yes. Energy efficiency is built into every home we produce. Standard features include 2x6 exterior walls with R-21 insulation, R-38 ceiling insulation, warm-edge low-E glass windows, and insulated exterior doors. Professional Homes also offers geothermal heating and cooling options, as well as an optional fluorescent lighting package that meets ENERGY STAR® requirements.
Green building focuses on sustainable materials and construction practices that reduce environmental impact. Modular homes are inherently green by design. Building in an enclosed, controlled environment minimizes material waste at both the factory and the job site, reduces the environmental footprint on the surrounding land and community, and allows for a tightly constructed home that maximizes energy efficiency.

Absolutely. Professional Homes has hundreds of customizable floor plans to choose from. We can also create a fully custom floor plan tailored to your specific needs, or we can work with a plan you bring to us.
Our homes are delivered 100% complete and ready to move in. Some customers choose to purchase select items, such as appliances, on their own, and we are happy to accommodate that.
Professional Homes specializes in complete turnkey construction and can handle every aspect of the building process, including excavation, foundation, well and septic systems, garage, porch, and permitting. We will even secure your building permits on your behalf. The only thing left to you will be watering the lawn once we are finished.
It is possible to act as your own general contractor to reduce some of the labor costs associated with your new home. That said, meaningful savings generally require solid general knowledge and hands-on experience in home construction. If you do have relevant expertise, Professional Homes can put together a package designed around your specific level of involvement.
Mortgage lenders treat modular homes the same as site-built homes, offering the same loan products, appraisal standards, and insurance options. Modular homes also appreciate in value at the same rate as comparable site-built homes in your area. You are welcome to secure your own financing, and Professional Homes will work seamlessly with your lender. We can also refer you to a number of trusted local lenders we have partnered with over the years.
